i looked at one almost exactly like that. If you couldn’t see rust on any given part, it was because it was covered in oil. Red ‘87 lifted. it was beautiful. its not something you would want to drive every day. I’ve never driven a vehicle that felt so heavy. I couldn’t even imagine Daily Driving that thing and having to navigate hills in stop and go traffic. It would be great for camping trips.

I don’t know, I don’t trust duplexes. I mean sure you could do a good job fire-proofing/sound-proofing/pest-proofing the common wall, but I really doubt any expense is put into it beyond the minimum needed for code.

I’m guessing: odometer hasn’t worked in 10 years and a Maaco respray, and hopefully not rusted half to death underneath. Even if I’m right, if that’s all that’s wrong with it it’s NP all day. I eagerly await your report and/or throwing away all plans to replace my FJ80 with a newer truck by buying an older one instead.
